It all begins with understanding the science of animal behavior and learning theory. Dog’s are constantly communicating with us and with each other. We must learn their language and help them to understand ours. Some trainers choose to ignore the science and rely instead on harsh corrections, punishment or painful devices to control animals. That is not our way! Those aversive methods come with negative psychological and behavioral problems. Our science based, fear free methods are proven, effective and humane.! Our job is to create a harmonious household
and to strengthen the bond between you and your dog through kind leadership, clear communication and trust. At MIND BODY DOG, we “teach” before we “train”. Then we teach you how to maintain training and teach any new behavior you wish. We don’t just teach basic manners. We share our knowledge of behavior modification, socialization, enrichment, canine behavior, nutrition, wellness, products and more! Our Services

Board & Train (14 days)
New dog or puppy? Let us train all the basics for you. Your pup will stay with us in the home where we can teach the entire day. Includes crate and potty training, socialization outings, and basic manners: Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Leave it, Drop and leash work. Also included are photo and video updates as well as emailed handouts. Package includes private one hour “transfer” session at pick up.

Boarding
Going out of town? Let us pamper your pup while reinforcing good behaviors. Safe, cage free care includes daily 45 min walks, park visits and play with our dog friendly pups. We can administer medications, feed your pups own food and make sure their visit is fun and stress free. Current vaccines are required. Seniors and puppies welcome!
$100 per night $70 for second dog
Meet and greet required.
Drop off and pick up 8:30am-5pm. Late pick-ups additional charge.

Private & Virtual Training
Private training in your home or virtual training via zoom. Private training available in Toluca Lake, Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Encino, Woodland Hills and Calabasas. One hour sessions include written training plan, homework assignments, handouts and phone support.
Home visit $175 (one hour)
Virtual $125 (one hour)
